Stemming from our successful global portfolio of energy storage eco-system events in the US and beyond, combined with the steadily growing landscape for operational battery assets in the country, we are very excited to launch our inaugural Battery Asset Management Summit in San Diego, California (12-13 November 2024).

The forecasted operational pipeline and capacity of storage in the US is predicted to hit 30GW by end of 2024, potentially increasing to 40GW in 2025. If these predictions are correct, US battery storage capacity is expected to double in less than a year.

As we see more storage projects become operational, the big question is “how to maximize your assets?” This event will prepare the industry for the road ahead, looking at the core fundamentals of asset management, understanding operational challenges, along with the latest optimization and software development.

In 2023, these efforts supported over 3,500 jobs across more than 30 states, contributed over $214 million in income for diverse-owned businesses and generated more than $62 million in tax revenue. The story extends beyond the numbers – it reflects the tangible benefits brought to small and diverse-owned businesses, fostering economic empowerment in their communities.    MGM Resorts also supports the development and business skills of diverse-owned businesses through investment, mentorship and education. Through the MGM Resorts Supplier Diversity Mentorship Program, the company identifies, mentors and develops diverse-owned businesses to fill its future pipeline, while providing businesses with tools and resources to empower and uplift.
