Last month in Chicago, the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) produced its annual RSNA conference and trade show, where attendance increased more than 13% over 2023. Roughly 39,000 radiology specialists across every subspecialty imaginable descended on the Windy City for five days of learning about the latest medical imaging technologies, along with opportunities for career advancement and other hands-on educational and networking opportunities.
As we look forward to 2025, it’s clear the events industry is evolving beyond simply “showing up.” Today’s attendees crave deeper engagement, meaningful interactions, and experiences that surpass what they can get from a screen.
To meet these expectations, show organizers need to address what all attendees want, creating spaces where genuine connections happen, insights are shared, and the experience is truly worth the trip.

New York Vet 2024, held Nov. 7–8 at the Javits Center, drew 2,300 veterinary professionals, compared with 1,800 in 2023—a 21% increase in attendance year over year.
